Hi Jane, just bringing a late comment up from downstairs to remind you of what a great job Lisa’s doing to cover the LA event.
LA’s knows how to put on an Event, no doubt.
Just trying to lift up the other great coverage at the Lake.
-D.
I hope and think that should not be a problem. She’s well connected in LA and if you read her report earlier, there are ways like tweeting to bring folks on to the scene.
Two phone calls, max, is what I’m thinking.
Kevin is doing such a great job. I am just jaw-on-the-floor amazed each day at what he puts up. Really he has made this story HAPPEN. I’m so glad Jon’s joining the effort.
One of the, many, things I like about Lisa’s coverage is that former NYC Police Chief Bill Bratton is showing Ray Kelly how it ought to be done and Lisa has done a fabulous job of highlighting just how different the two approaches have been.
It’s in depth, reporter on the scene live coverage like this that makes FDL the envy of many a more, ahem, mature media organization.
What do you expect la hada to do? We’d like them to let people demonstrate without interference or harassment… They seem to be protecting the 1%’s right to access their workplace or something… not sure.
Frankly I don’t think they know what to with so many protesters for so long.
I’m so thrilled about Occupy Wall St. and that it’s spreading. I so admire these young people – these young people represent real hope and change, not like the fraud who currently occupies the WH.
From what I’ve read, they’ve accepted the unions support with some trepidation; but I’m worried about MoveOn.org (an arm of the obama administration) trying to co-opt their protest. Also, democrats who see this movement as a cynical opportunity to show their populist leanings.
Elliot Brown of New Zealand has officially dedicated this song to the people occupying Wall St. Please help us get it to the good folks who are occupying our streets. New Zealand stands with us October 15th. Sing along…Pass it on!
When you Google “Occupy”, it is interesting to see what comes up. Most the hits are negative.
It would be interesting to to put together a timeline and list of MSM reports/articles, who did them (corp owner too) and the tone (positive, negative, neutral).
Kevin has been addressing this daily. To put it all together as a timeline from day one would show the MSM’s motives.

*waving to Kevin and Jon*
Is the livestream running — ain’t seen nuthin, except the FDL logo.
And totally agree on LA LISA’s coverage. Fun, intelligent reads.

Could you elaborate on *how it should be done?*

What do you think about this?
Power corrupts… the more power the more corruption…
