Ed. note: Kevin is on a tour of Occupation sites in the Midwest. He’ll be visiting the sites, talking to and interviewing occupiers, and getting a feel for where they are and what they need. He’ll also be delivering needed supplies using funds donated to FDL’s OccupySupply fund.
Tuesday night Kevin should be in Fort Wayne, indiana visiting that Occupation. He’ll be live blogging and possibly livestreaming and recording video from the site, starting sometime after 6:00 p.m. local time.

Bill Black tells it like it is. Again.
I’d forgotten it was in my inbox. Thanks.
Are they under a bridge?
Anyone seen this yet? Just found it on yahoo. Looks like the next push back from the corporate media.
Fed up with petty crime, the all-night racket of beating drums, the smell of human waste and the sight of trampled flowers and grass, police and neighbors are losing patience with some of the anti-Wall Street protests around the U.S.
I really like their set-up.
I just saw it and you beat me to reporting it by about 10 minutes. It’s absolutely disgusting but also completely expected, considering the source. Soon the 1%MSM will also know just who is “fed up” with what.
Oh, wow. That…makes me angry.
Good stuff, thanks.
WOO HOO FDLer Mark in Fort Wayne!
Wow, they really really are right by the police station.
Big Brother is not just watching but in their living room!
B minus, Kevin? I give them an A.
Thanks Kevin, and I think they get an A too.
Great link. First chance I’ve had to actually see him speak. Thanks, SD.
I really don’t know why I gave them a B-. You have reminded me of why I should not be grading the occupations. Each one is a winner especially if they have a camp.
I think what they are doing is impressive and has great potential. They need blankets, sheets, and gloves so that is what FDL will be donating. They seem to have plenty of food right now. Their setup is almost perfect.
They just lost their bathrooms. But, isn’t it amazing? Their occupation used to have bathroom facilities.
Yeah, that is amazing. In Memphis we have to walk almost 4 blocks away to use the bathroom (really frustrating the night I camped with my 2 small kids who each seemed to need to go every 30 minutes!)
Fascinating report, Kevin. Sounds like a case of repressive tolerance and physical marginalization.
I don’t know why you felt obligated to grade them. Against what standard? Just being there and continuing to be there is sufficient.
Solidarity to them from North Carolina.
Yes! Thank you Mark in Fort Wayne! You are a hero!
Remember all the backpacking tricks for low-impact camping and hauling stuff in and out? Glass jars do work but folks here get a discarded contractor paint bucket, coffee grounds (or other “kitty litter”) and a lid. There really still will have to be sanitation duty and the associated supports.
